David Shapiro points out that "it is easy to overlook the fact that Berrigan, with almost no resources except generosity and devotion, undertook to print what he considered to be the best poets of his time in a magazine named comically after the comedian as letter C, and that these poets may have seemed once a sort of squad, coterie, of friendly soldiers, but have become, after all, history. 8vo, boards, dust jacket.
