First edition of Frost's first book, first issue. Presentation copy, inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper to "Eleanor Farjeon from Robert Frost." A fine association copy, from two of the "elected friends" of the English poet Edward Thomas, of whom Frost wrote: "Edward Thomas was the only brother I ever had." Farjeon was one of Thomas's closest friends during the last four years of his life, perhaps second only to Frost, who met Thomas in the spring of 1914...
