We are pleased to announce the publication of our most recent occasional list. The list consists of 274 works of mostly modestly priced modern fiction, poetry, and private press books. Conrad Aiken, Wendell Berry, Raymond Chandler, August Derleth, W. S. Graham, Robert Graves, Jim Harrison, Ted Hughes, Galway Kinnell, John McPhee, John Masefield, Sylvia Plath, and William Stafford, among others, are represented, many with signed or inscribed books. Of particular interest is the dedication copy of Edwin Muir’s We Moderns; an inscribed copy of Guy Chapman’s important World War I memoir A Passionate Prodigality, which is signed by the dedicatee and, it appears, many other veterans of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers; John Masefield’s The Tragedy of Nan and Other Plays, inscribed to John Galsworthy; Sylvia Plath’s first separate publication, "Sculptor. To Leonard Baskin"; and Elizabeth Smart’s copy of Dylan Thomas’s The World I Breathe.
