Each copy is signed by the author and each of the artists, who include Gregory Amenoff, Joe Andoe, James Brown, Vija Celmins, Louisa Chase, Eric Fischl, Jan Hashey, Michael Hurson, Mel Kendrick, James Nares, Ellen Phelan, Joel Shapiro, Kiki Smith, David Storey, Michelle Stuart, Richard Tuttle, Trevor Winkfield, and Robin Winters. The present copy is accompanied by one of only 3 complete sets of 36 original prints that were assembled at the time of publication; each print is one of an edition of only 10 copies signed by the artist. Only 10 separate prints of each of the illustrations in the book were produced, with the contributing artists receiving 7 copies of each of their prints; the remaining 3 copies of the prints were gathered into 3 sets containing the full complement of 36 prints; 2 of these sets were retained by the publisher and one by the author. The prints represent a wide variety of media, including woodcut, linoleum cut and pochoir. Both the book and the portfolio of prints are in fine condition.
